Satta World is a game-based, social-emotional money-skills app for kids.
We believe learning about money should be fun, safe, and empowering — that’s why protecting children’s privacy is at the heart of how we build our app. 

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when children and parents use Satta World. If you are a parent or guardian, please review this policy carefully.

If additional service providers process children’s personal information on our behalf,they do so only under our instructions and subject to contractual privacy and security obligations.

3. who can use satta world

Satta World is directed to children under 13.
Children can use the app only after a parent or guardian provides verified consent.
Parents can access, review, & delete their child’s data at any time (see Section 9).

4. what we collect

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate Satta World, provide gameplay, save progress, maintain security, and support parent accounts.

Information we may collect after parental consent includes:

• Parent account information: parent name, email address, login credentials, and subscription status

• Child account information: child username or nickname, age range, avatar selections, and in-app preferences

• Progress information: quests completed, lessons finished, streaks, gems earned, and other learning progress data

• Technical information: device type, operating system, app version, crash logs, and limited identifiers needed for security, fraud prevention, and service performance

• Purchase/subscription information: plan type, billing status, and transaction confirmation information provided through Apple or Google’s payment systems

We do not collect:

• precise geolocation

• photos, video, or voice recordings from children

• free-form user-generated content from children

• behavioral advertising data for targeted ads to children

Before parental consent:
We do not allow a child to create a full account or provide personal information before a parent or guardian completes the required consent flow, except where limited information is permitted solely to initiate or verify parental consent as allowed by law.

5. how we use the information

We use collected data to:

• Provide and improve gameplay experiences

• Save in-app progress and settings

• Manage parental consent and subscriptions

• Provide technical support or respond to parent requests

• Comply with legal and safety requirements

Progress Tracking and Learning Insights:

We collect progress and learning metrics to help children visualize their growth and to help parents understand development.

Efficacy and Research Studies:

We may use aggregated or de-identified data to evaluate how well Satta World supports learning, improve our curriculum, and conduct internal research or collaborate with educational partners.

These studies never include personal identifiers. We do not sell, rent, or share identifiable information for research or marketing. We do not use behavioral advertising or targeted marketing.

We work only with vetted providers who comply with children’s privacy laws.
Apple / Google Login — Single Sign-On (SSO)
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Secure data hosting (U.S./Canada)
App Store Payment Systems — Subscriptions & in-app purchases
All vendors act under our instructions and sign Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).

7. advertising and sale of data

We do not sell children’s personal information.
We do not use children’s personal information for behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
We do not allow third-party advertising networks to profile children based on their activity in Satta World.

8. parental consent & controls

Before we collect a child’s personal information, a parent or guardian must provide verifiable parental consent through a method reasonably designed to confirm that the person providing consent is the child’s parent or guardian.

Depending on the feature or service, this may include methods such as:

• payment or card-based verification

• app-store account verification

• email-plus or other parent notice methods, where legally permitted for limited uses

• other consent methods permitted under applicable law

Parents may at any time:

• review the personal information associated with their child’s account

• request corrections

• request deletion

• withdraw consent for future collection or use

9. data retention & deletion

We keep data only as long as necessary to support learning and account functionality.

When a parent deletes an account or withdraws consent, we permanently delete all related data within 30 days.

Research Data Retention: De-identified, aggregated data used for learning-outcome studies may be stored separately for internal analysis.

It cannot be linked to any person.

10. your rights

U.S. (COPPA): Review and delete the child’s data; revoke consent
EU/UK (GDPR-K): Access, correct, erase, transfer, or withdraw consent
Canada (PIPEDA): Access, correct, or withdraw consent at any time
Email social@sattalabs.io to exercise rights. We respond within 30 days.

11. data storage & security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of personal information. These safeguards may include encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, monitoring, and vendor due diligence.

We also take reasonable steps to work only with service providers capable of maintaining appropriate privacy and security protections.

12. international data transfers

If you are outside the U.S., your information may be processed on U.S. servers.
We use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other approved safeguards to ensure equivalent protection.

13. in-app purchases & subscriptions

Purchases are managed through Apple or Google systems.
We never store full payment details. All transactions use the platforms’ secure payment processes.

14. use of aggregated data for research and communication

We may use de-identified or aggregated information to understand how children use Satta World and how our program supports learning.

This information may also be used to evaluate and communicate the educational effectiveness of Satta World.

We may share anonymous insights — for example, average progress rates or improvement trends — in reports, presentations, academic papers, or marketing materials to demonstrate the impact of our curriculum.

All data used for these purposes is strictly non-identifiable. It contains no personal information and cannot be used to identify any child, parent, or household.

We never sell, rent, or share personal data for advertising or targeted marketing. Our communications based on aggregated results are intended solely to illustrate collective learning outcomes of the Satta World community.

15. changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time.
If material changes occur, we’ll notify parents via email and update the date above. We will not reduce privacy protections without new parental consent.
